The Democracy That Never Was
I hate America. Not the continent, but the United States of America.
I hate how they believe that they are the heroes of the world.
I hate how their country is run by major corporations instead of their so called new-founded democracy.
I hate how every time that they step into a war, it’s only because they’re in danger or some communist state’s about to take over the world. (WWI, WWII? Vietnam went well didn’t it?)
I hate how 90% of average Americans don’t even know where Iraq is, even with all the stuff that’s going on there.
I hate how some of them don’t even know where their damned country is yet still think they are the world justice league.
I hate how they invented nothing useful in this world and yet still think that they’re the innovators of tomorrow. (Okay, I’ll give them artificial light. But that’s all.)
I hate how they’re so proud of their history (Civil war anybody?) yet can’t answer who the second president of their own country is.
I also hate how they go on banging over how awesome their history is when it’s only about 250 years old and some countries have lasted for thousands of years.
I hate how they say that “Oh hey, it’s a democracy! HEY COME OVER HERE AND VOTE FOR MITT ROMNEY!” with no shame at all.
But I digress. Cheers, everyone. At least we’re Canadian, eh?
